On behalf of Leann Sebrey, Chair of the Home Care Committee and Heidi McCaffery, Chair of the Hospice Care Committee, we are excited to invite you to participate in the Alliance's upcoming joint Committee meeting featuring a discussion to raise awareness around LGBTQ issues with Gia Drew, program director at EqualityMaine/SAGE.
Gia will discuss challenges impacting LGBTQ older adults preparing/receiving care in the home and ways we can work together (community, agencies, caregivers and patients) to improve communication and ultimately improve the quality of care.
EqualityMaine is the oldest and largest statewide organization dedicated to creating a fair and just society for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Mainers.
