On behalf of Leann Sebrey, Chair of the Home Care Committee and Heidi McCaffery, Chair of the Hospice Care Committee, we are excited to invite you to participate in the Alliance's upcoming Home Care and Hospice Care Committee meeting featuring national wound care specialist Joanne Labiak!
Joanne will facilitate a practical informational session, "Health Literacy in Home Health and Hospice: It’s not just about the patient," that looks at wound care and the implications of what we say – to patients and to providers, and how it impacts our effectiveness. We will be focusing on how to gather critical information before and during patient encounters and how that translates into a reasonable plan of care.
