This two-part package will help you determine if adding a palliative care program is right for your agency. It will walk you through the necessary steps from strategic planning to implementation.

June 13, 2023
Part 1 will examine the elements to consider for a CBPC program. It will review clinical and operational cost considerations, practice guidelines, the benefits of accreditation, and contracting. It will also detail how to create an effective strategic plan while considering all components of a successful CBPC program.

June 27, 2023
Part 2 will walk through the design and implementation of a community-based palliative care program. It will discuss the requirements, the eight domains of palliative care to consider, necessary staff, processes, and procedures. Operational and clinical best practices, including key roles, responsibilities, and team members to include in a successful CBPC program, will be addressed.
